What a vape filling machine does

A filling machine measures a set volume of oil and puts it into an empty cartridge, pod or disposable. It replaces a syringe.

Warm oil flows, cold oil does not. Most machines heat the tank and the nozzle.

The three types

Manual

You place the cartridge, you press. Low cost, low output, no setup. This is the right start for a small line or a new product you are testing.

Semi-automatic

You load a tray of cartridges, the machine fills the row. Output rises a lot for a small step in price. This is where most operators land.

Automatic

The machine fills, caps and counts with one operator. This is for volume. It needs floor space, power and a person who knows the machine.

What else you need

A capper. Filling and capping are two jobs. Some machines do both. Most do not.
Tooling for your format. A tray is cut for one cartridge size. Change the cartridge and you change the tray.
Spare nozzles and seals. These wear. Order them with the machine, not after they fail.
