Who we are

Empty Vapes is a trading name of UIC International B.V., Vooruitgangstraat 169, 2032 RK Haarlem, the Netherlands (KvK 42164611, VAT NL869997117B01). UIC International B.V. is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions and requests: sales@emptyvapes.com.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry, a quote request, a sample pack request or a download request, we receive what you type: your name, company, work email, and where you give them your phone number, country, company VAT number, message and the products you chose. We use this to answer you, prepare quotes and invoices and deliver orders. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to trade enquiries. We check a VAT number you give us against the EU VIES register.

Who processes it for us

Odoo (Odoo S.A.) holds our customer records, quotes and invoices. Brevo sends the notification of your enquiry to our sales team and a copy to you. Vercel hosts this website and runs the forms. Google Analytics measures how the site is used; it sets cookies only if you press Accept, and without that sends cookieless measurements only. Ahrefs Web Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics count visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Outside the EU

Google, Vercel and Ahrefs may process data outside the European Union. Where they do, they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows. Records that relate to orders and invoices are kept as long as Dutch tax law requires, which is seven years.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your quote list and your cookie choice are kept in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us until you send a form.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to sales@emptyvapes.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
